Last Saturday, the passion of our volunteers turned into tangible action! Think Green mobilized a dedicated team of 150 young changemakers in the Oku region to execute our largest tree planting initiative of the season. In just one day, we successfully planted over 500 indigenous saplings.
Why does this matter? Reforestation is a critical pillar of environmental action in Africa. These young trees aren’t just green decorations; they are the future lungs of our community, helping to stabilize soil, combat erosion, and provide essential habitats for local wildlife. Every single volunteer, from the local school children to our regional coordinators, understood they were planting hope.
This drive proves that real, measurable change happens when youth are empowered to lead. This is what Driven by Purpose, United for the Planet looks like! Want to be part of the next planting team? Sign up now!
