You see the waste in your street. You feel the heat of a changing climate. And you know you want to do something, but where do you start? At Think Green, we believe every young person has the power to transform their community. Our Youth Empowerment workshops are designed to turn passion into strategic action.
Ready to lead? Here are 3 steps inspired by our successful volunteers across Cameroon:
- Identify Your Hyper-Local Crisis: Don’t try to save the world all at once. Is your school lacking recycling bins? Is a local river filled with litter? Focus on one small, achievable goal right where you live.
- Mobilize Your Peers (The Power of the Squad): Real change requires community. Use your network! Organize a mini-cleanup with five friends. Host a simple environmental workshop in your dorm. You are not alone—your peers are your greatest resource.
- Document and Inspire: After your action, share your success (no matter how small) on social media. Show the before-and-after. Your initiative is now a blueprint for others. That’s how a small grassroots action becomes a movement.
Join the next cohort of Think Green trainees and we’ll give you the tools to succeed!
